Anthony Lane is a celebrated British journalist currently working for The New Yorker magazine as a film critic. He started to work for The Independent as a freelance writer and book reviewer following his graduation from Trinity College, Cambridge.
Lane received the National Magazine Award for Reviews & Criticism, due to three of his New Yorker articles in 2001.
