Kilmeade began his career as a correspondent for a daily national. High school television news program and on Channel One News. He then served in Ontario, California for KHSC-TV as a host and an anchor.
Additionally, Kilmeade co-hosted all-sports radio network on XTRA-AM (KLSD-XTRA 1360 Fox Sports San Diego) and Jim Brown Show. He joined Jim Brown for the inaugural Ultimate Fighting Championship.
As part of the announcing team and conducted post-fight interviews in 1993. Kilmeade served in Hartford, Connecticut for WVIT as a freelance sports anchor beginning in 1997.
He was also an MSG Network sideline reporter where Brian covered the New Jersey MetroStars/New York. Kilmeade later served for Newsport TV as an anchor and feature reporter. He also hosted for the national sports network a daily magazine show.
