She joined the WCNC-TV family in May 2015 as the anchor for the 4:30 a.m. newscast and traffic reporter. She was an anchor for multiple evening and 11 p.m. newscasts. She left the station in August 2019.
She started her career in Brooke’s TV news career include Charleston, SC where she started as a producer and reporter. From there she went to Louisville, Kentucky where she covered everything from a devastating tornado outbreak to the Kentucky Derby. In Louisville, she also took on dual roles as morning anchor and traffic reporter.
CBS11 was also hired Brooke Katz as the station’s Saturday evening/late-night news anchor and reporter for four weekdays. Katz will also be a fill-in anchor.
