Candice Aviles Career

Aviles is currently working as a News Anchor at WTSP-TV for more than four years now. She joined the station in Mar 2017 to date. Prior to that, Aviles was an RTV6 Evening Anchor at WRTV for more than two years, from Mar 2015 to Mar 2017. At WRTV, she was responsible for anchoring the 4 and 5:30 pm live newscast to the Indianapolis area. Aviles was also responsible for writing, editing, and anchoring breaking news, severe weather & large events.

Aviles had also spent six months at ABC Creative Content Department as a Host/Reporter, Freelance from Nov 2014 to Apr 2015. She was responsible for creating, producing & engaging online videos on various news and entertainment events. Before that, she was a Host, Freelance at KCET for seven months, from May 2014 to Nov 2014.

Candice has also worked as an Anchor/Host/Producer at for two years, from May 2012 to Apr 2014. At, she was responsible for anchoring for Newsy, AOL, The Huffington Post, The Weather Channel, and TIME. Aviles would also host MSN segments: News You Can’t Afford to Miss & Sunday Show.

Aviles was also responsible for covering breaking news, researching, writing, editing packages, and presenting live for the 5, 6, 6:30, 9, and 10 pm newscasts.

Before that, Aviles was a Host/Producer at Trojan Vision (TV8) for almost three years, from Sep 2008 to Apr 2011. At Trojan Vision (TV8), she was responsible for hosting a half-hour, live entertainment news show known as “The Scoop”. She would also interview guests including actors, musicians, and entrepreneurs.

Aviles was also an Anchor/Reporter/Producer at Annenberg TV News for four years, from 2007 to 2011. She was responsible for anchoring the 6 pm live newscasts and also reporting live using Streambox laptop. She would also write produce and anchor weather and health segments.
