Caroline became a member of the 27 News team in August of 2014. She works as an executive producer, anchorperson, and reporter. You will catch her on Wake Up Wisconsin from Wednesday to Sunday mornings. Caroline, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, was thrilled to be returning to the Midwest.
During her tenure at WKOW, she covered a number of national headlines, including the officer-involved shooting of Tony Robinson, the imminent release of Brendan Dassey, the arrest of fugitive Joseph Jakubowski, the downtown Sun Prairie blast, and the unprecedented floods in 2018.
She has won several Wisconsin Broadcasters Association awards for reporting and producing. Caroline was also instrumental in making Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend a nationwide broadcast in 2015.
Caroline formerly worked as an anchor and reporter at WVVA, WKOW’s sister station in Bluefield, West Virginia. Caroline has covered Hurricane Sandy, the Freedom Industries chemical leak into the Elk River in Charleston, and West Virginia’s first Boy Scout Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve, both of which earned national attention.
Caroline’s spot news coverage of a suspect trapped on the West Virginia Turnpike, a psychiatrist and University of Pittsburgh professor accused of killing his wife with cyanide, has earned WVVA an Associated Press Award.
Caroline attended college in Cleveland. She received a Magna Cum Laude from Baldwin Wallace University’s Honors Program. She began her career as a producer for Parma Area Community television while still in high school, reporting news about city government, colleges, and athletics.
