Carlson is currently a full-time Sports Reporter/Anchor at WMC-TV a position she has held for more than one year since joining the station in Feb 2020. She is responsible for reporting, anchoring, producing, and shooting sports content for the legacy station in Memphis, TN (DMA #51). She also produces and anchors weekend sportscasts (3 min & 7 min on Sundays). Cassie is also responsible for – performing breaking news live shots.
Prior to that, Carlson was a Color Analyst for Texas Tech Soccer & Volleyball broadcasts at Fox Sports Southwest a position she held for almost a year, from Aug 2019 to Feb 2020. At Fox, Cassie was responsible for working with the play-by-play announcer to have a seamless broadcast with good chemistry. She also reached and worked with the TV crew to produce live broadcasts, develop interesting storylines.
Carlson also worked as a Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter at Ramar Communications KJTV FOX 34 for more than two years, from Feb 2018 to Feb 2020. She was responsible for anchoring, shooting, producing, and editing Sports newscasts. Cassie also shot and edited sports and news packages, highlights & availabilities.
