She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production with honors from Howard University’s John H. Johnson School of Communications in May 2009.
She received the prestigious Paul Robeson Best Actress award for her role in a short film she wrote and directed while at Howard (The film also won the award for Best Cinematography).
