Edie joined KCRA in July 1995 as a reporter and morning anchor. she later became the weekend anchor with Ron Jones at KOVR until 2002. She also had the Privilage to anchor with Kevin Riggs on the weekend evening editions of the newscast. She later switched positions to anchor the 6 and 11pm newscast with John Alston in 2006.
Before joining KCRA edie also worked at KEYT–TV as an evening anchor and reporter. Lambert has won a number of awards, including an Emmy for documentary on breast cancer.
