Corrigan commenced his broadcasting career in Youngstown, Ohio. Then he went to Richmond, Virginia, before going back to Cleveland. Corrigan worked for the Cleveland Indians from 1983, 1985-2001 on WUAB for 18 years in the television booth.

This gave him the longest work among television announcers in Indians history. He since has been outshined by former Indians CF Rick Manning who began full-time in 1990 and is still with the team.

Corrigan has served for the National Basketball Association’s Cleveland Cavaliers. From 1982-to 1988 (during the baseball off-season) as the TV voice whose games were on WUAB. He authored Warning Track, printed out by Peakview Press on May 25th, 2005.
