Jakes began his profession as a film critic at the age of 14 years. While he was still schooling at Seabrook Intermediate School in 2002, he wrote Houston Chronicles, he was brought on as a film critic for the late-night talk show, The After Party, hosted by Emie Manouse, this is at 18 after his high school course.
In its first season, The AfterShow got nominated for a “Best Entertainment/Variety Program” Emmy this is because of the Positive reviews from both fans and the critics.
