He later moved to Chicago, where he became a reporter and weekend anchor at WLS-TV.
In 1998 he joined d WCBS-TV, where he co-anchored the noon newscast with Cindy Hsu and the 5 pm newscast with Lisa Cooley. Rosenfield also anchored CBS 2 News at 5 and CBS 2 News at 11 with Roz Abrams from 2005 – April 2006. In April 2006 he dropped the 5 PM newscast and joined Dana Tyler at 6 PM, while also keeping the 11 PM with Dana.
