For three years, he reported across the Middle East, for his coverage of the 2012 Gaza/Israel War he received a Silver Sony Award for radio journalism of the year. He worked as a presenter for Radio New Zealand in 2000/1 when he lived in New Zealand. Filing reports for BBC radio, in 2002 rode the entire 3,300km route of the Tour De France alongside the race, he’s a keen cyclist.
After three years of being the West Bank and Gaza correspondent, on 17th June 2013 he was titled the new Australia correspondent. In early August 2013, he started up on his Sydney-based role, he reported on business news for BBC.com and BBC World News, BBC’s news services within the UK, Australian political and cultural.
