View this post on InstagramMy husband just reminded me that seven years ago we made a trip of a lifetime to Italy. It was to celebrate six months of rehab & PT after my husband had a horrible ski accident. From barely walking using a walker to using crutches to a cane for months-from me driving him to and from work in the early days of recovery-to finally walking 20,000 plus steps a day all over Italy…this was a memorable trip for so many reasons. While there I also ran my ninth of twelve half marathons that year-through the hills of Tuscany- in honor of my Grampy. We hope to go back again someday soon…until then we’ll just think of those memories from these photos 💗🇮🇹
