Kathryn’s career started in Alexandria, Minnesota at KCCO-TV (a small station ) as a reporter, she then went to the Badger State and started working in Eau Claire at WQOW-TV 18 as the weekend anchor, for Best Small Market Feature Story, about a  man with developmental disabilities who uses assistive technology to better communicate led her to win a Wisconsin Broadcasters Association award she still was at WQOW-TV. In 2003, the Action 2 News Fox Valley Newsroom hired her as a reporter and in 2006, she changed tables to the anchor of Action 2 News This Morning.
