She started as a freelance reporter, then a full-time reporter, weekend anchor, morning show host, and in 1999 was promoted to the main anchor of the Ten O’Clock News.
She also worked in radio, anchoring the midday news on 1530 WCKY-AM. She dealt with menopause and hired a personal trainer two years ago to get serious about being the best mom I can be. Today, in 2019, I feel as healthy as I ever have! My advice is to never ever give up on yourself.. work hard and will power needs to become a way of life. If you can’t do it for yourself… do it for someone you love!”
